Use brown corrugated cardboard to make a scale model, packaging mock-up or first prototype. The fluted core adds thickness without much weight. Laser-cut flat parts or components for models you assemble yourself.
Which thickness should you choose?
Choose 3 mm for a thinner sheet for small models or packaging trials. The 7 mm option adds more material thickness. Allow for this extra thickness in slots, tabs and joints. Stiffness also depends on flute direction and part shape: test a joint on an offcut first.

Compatibility is an indication for the material. Cutting and engraving depend on your machine, power, colour and thickness. Check the material specification and machine manual for your chosen variant.
Cutting, scoring and engraving
The flutes remain visible along cut edges. Flute direction affects how a part bends and how a fold behaves. Test a scoring line before making a fold: scoring too deeply can cut through the outer layer. Engraving removes material from the top layer and may expose the core, so do not expect the even finish of solid board.
Test power and speed on your own machine. Cardboard is flammable: stay with the laser while cutting, keep the work bed clean and use effective extraction.

How do I know if a material is suitable for my laser cutter?
Every product page indicates which types of lasers the material is suitable for (e.g. CO₂ or diode lasers). If you are unsure, feel free to contact us. We are happy to advise you.
Are the sheets exactly the specified size?
We cut or saw the sheets as accurately as possible. Minor deviations of a few millimetres may occur due to the sawing or cutting process.
Can I return materials?
Yes, unused and undamaged materials can be returned within 14 days. Custom-made or specially ordered sheets are excluded. You can find more information on our returns page.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout based on size, weight, and destination.
